Good Evening folks. i got 64km with 16litres of fuel in my honda eod 2003 model. V4 engine, city driving, speed between 30km/ hr to 50km/hr. rpm btw 2000 to 3000rpm
Is the fuel consumption normal or is my car running rich on fuel?
Thanks for the anticipated response.
damn! That's a whooping 1 gallon per kilometer. Your car is a fuel guzzler bro. Is it emitting black smoke? Go for car diagnostic to know d cause. Thanks

First scan your car, then you might need to change your injection nuzzle cos if d mouth is wide it consumed fuel

In addition to what others have said, what's your tire pressure? What kind of tyre do you use? What weight of engine oil do you use? Do you have excess weight in your car? Do you brake harshly?

Op one or more of your injectors might be stuck wide open and faulty. You may need to change all of them.

That is why fuel is leaking past your pistons and rings straight into your engine oil. That’s the smell you’re perceiving on your dipstick.

You have a terrible mpg. That’s 2.5 km/L. You need to do a general overhaul of your fuel delivery system.

64km with 16l, hmmm, you should literally see fuel in your exhaust pipe or the fuel went out through a leak in your fuel tank.

That's like 9.4mpg against the 24mpg city the accord is rated.

Issues like this come from leaking fuel injectors or high fuel pressure.

How are we sure you don't mean 64miles which is very different from 64km. You need to show us a picture of yr speedometer so we are really sure
