Kidd is very cool with Laycon and since the Laycon/Erica issue started, he hasn't really shown any bad vibe towards Laycon. Even when Kidd and Erica are discussing Laycon, he doesn't say anything bad about him.
So, I don't think Kidd will intentionally do something like that to hurt him. But we never can tell.
