£50m isn't that the price of an average english full back this days. The same Leicester that wanted £80m, the fee may have dropped because Chilwell is injured, their fans may just be comforting themselves or trolling –knowing that Chelsea fans are skeptical about Chilwell joining.

Ben Chilwell (23) is Chelsea’s new left-back. Here’s how he compared to other PL LB’s last season:

- 1st for progressive runs

- 3rd for key passes and final third passes

- 3rd for fouls won and 4th for shot creation

- 5th for aerial duels won

He loses possession as much as TAA, due to making a lot of progressive runs and at times a poor touch.

Just an average LB, let's hope he improves massively and helps protect the defensive (an area he seems better than the other options we had)

One thing I like about Lampard's style of play is that it creates so many chances. Werner is way more prolific than Abraham/Giroud. Ziyech will bring in goals and assists(how many goals did we score from corners and indirect freekicks sef). He'll also free up space for James to work. I don't know much about Havertz sha. Silva certainly won't make Rudiger like errors. Chilwell will get us some assists.
Will they gel immediately? I'm not sure but if/when they click, hmmmmn.
