Qur'an is the highest authority in Islam and it commands Muslims to take Muhammad as their life guide, because he's the "best of mankind".

Below are few of the verses commanding Muslims to do so: Q.33:21 and Q.24:54.

When a typical Muslim wants to do anything, he strives to follow those verses (and there are loads of similar ones in Qur'an and haadith).

Sunni Muslims (in the North, Saudi, Pakistan, and the likes) strive to follow Islam purely as Muhammad did.

But that will be evil for humanity and this planet.

And thinks like pedophilia, terrorism have to be curbed by strong (secular) laws that are also fair.

Let me give you one I know you have tried alot but couldn't find
Surah al-Nisa’, 4:21 described marriage as a strong solemn covenant please tell me how an under age girl will understand what covenant means.
Secondly, prophet took Nana Aisha at a young age and consummated it age 20 or there about.
Marriage in Islam is also approve consent of the female and she must know her right from left, reach puberty stage.
It's not so hard is it?

Qur'an is the highest authority in Islam and commands Muslims to take Muhammad as the best example or a life guide.

“Indeed in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example to follow for him who hopes in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.” (Al-Quran 33:21)

“And verily, you (Muhammad) are on an exalted (standard of) character.”[ Al Quran 68:4 ]

Just few examples.

Muhammad had his good and bad sides (like every human).

But strong/traditional Muslims strive to follow all his deeds (Sunnah) both good and bad, as commanded by Quran without questioning them (there are Quranic verses prohibiting Muslims from questioning Qur'an and Sunnah).

But one has to question everything.

Also, Shariah laws are built on Qur'an and Sunnah.

Things like pedophilia and terrorism are some of the bad sides of Muhammad and reflect in Sharia laws and cultures, which some conservative Islamic nations follow (and the North in Nigeria).
