Ever since mtn increased the duration of thier night i have always noticed that the data usually gets exhausted in no time and from my investigation mtn seems to be shortchanging us by giving only 300 mb for a plan that is surpose to be 500mb.after you use about 200mb you get the usual (you have 95mb remaing on your data bundle) message ....there a pictures to prove .

I remember subscribing to this plan in 2016, was fast for the first 10 mins and the last 10 mins, i never got to truly use it. First and only time I fell for that MTN nightplan scam.

Mtn night plan is wack, their 500mb sub can't download a file of 450mb.. That their 11pm-6pm Is just to keep pple glued.




I prefer glo night plan

I've also discovered it.
250mb gets kinda capped at 200mb. Same with 500mb.
Most times, i have to put on airplane mode and put it off before the internet resumes working. It's annoying.

I thought i was the only one noticing this. As soon as they send ur data balance telling you your remaining data, you can't browse again

Once they send u the message, switch to 3g network and you will be able to the remaining data . I discovered it myself

actually they slow down the network and select few apps like whatsapp and YouTube to use the data on, if you switch off your data long enough by the time you turn jet back know you'll be able to use your remaining data but still won't be able to Download anything with it

Switch to Glo. 1GB = 1024MB.
Remember to recharge before 12AM.

I discovered it four months ago and since then I stopped doing night plans entirely.

12 midnight to 5 am for 5 days.
You can recharge as many times as possible.

I can relate to this, two days ago I just sub for MTN 500mb x2 so as to download a season movie of just 8 episode, to my surprise I did not download up-to 5 before MTN start sending me messages that I have 84mb left, I was like 1gb can't download 8 episode, I have switch to glo and no regrets

Same predicament happened to me about two weeks ago...
I subbed the 500mb night plan
Just to install a game of 450mb
99% percent installed ooo
boom....Your nightlife bundlehas expired

I use it till 497mb or so, it is not scam.
Once you use about 400+ or 200+ mb, you get a notification that you have XX mb left (your internet connection will be suspended at that moment). I simply turn off my data connection and change my Access point. Browsing continues after that.

I think it's a fault from their end. I usually think it's 200-220mb use per 250 mb purchase but, I had to change Access point to fix the issue.

You're right OP. I subbed night plan two nights ago. The 500mb, was about 450 mb. It's not up to 500mb. Mtn is scamming Nigerians
