GamalNasser:Are you mind them? These are the type of nigerians that tell you that they are "due for promotion"!! Tell that to your boss in the private sector and you'll get sacked for suggesting that you are "due for promotion" on the basis of passage of time instead of performance. |

These ones got aviation jobs through connection ![]() Of course private investors coming in would want to weed them out and replace them with capable hands. So we agree, jobs will be lost, but they'll be replaced immediately. |

LandMann:What you don't know is far more than what you know.......what improved efficiency are you talking about ? Who are those corrupt and enriching themselves ? Tell me one company Atiku started by him self ? Tell me one company started by Obasanjo from scratch by himself ? TY danjuma...... David Mark... Uzor Kalu..... Et al....politicians sharing national assets all to themselves.....go and research on how oil blocks are awarded and the terms and conditions attached to owning it Look at NDDC scandal......politicians interference has been the problem of civil service all along The political class appoints the MDs and Directors of most government organization, tell me who signs what and what contracts and how government contracts are done. Who created the rots in the first place and who benefits more from the rot in the civil service ? Have you asked yourself why this government choose concession over privatization and outright sale of the airports ? And on what basis do they want to concession these selected airports over akure, Katsina, sokoto, bauchi, yola, Benin airports and the rest across the country ? Have you seen on which term the concessionaires are considered for this jobs and the conditions attached to running and remittance of money generated ? I even heard Lagos state show interest in acquiring the Lagos airport at a time but...... Make research on those that gets NNPC contracts, appointments, employment etc Check how much organizations generates in Nigeria and how much they remits to government......or you think its the politicians that generate the fund use in running the budget ? What percentage of the budget do you think is generated by the private sectors ? Make research on MMA2 BOT as well. These are some of the questions begging for answers |

All the airports in Nigeria should be privately owned and operated. Government should only be a regulator creating benchmarks, frameworks and standards. No company, institution or establishment in Nigeria should be bankrolled be the government. |

LandMann:You are very correct. They prefer easy money and high level of corruption. Most of them are doing their businesses at the Airports spending and making money anyhow. They are protesting for survival. NNPC staff would also resist privatization. They are all feeding fat on public institutions. If you draw their attention to developed countries, they will remind you social benefits are available to masses in developed countries but not available in Nigeria. |

saaphiere:There are steps to such thing and it includes calling a stakeholders meeting but the government is too lofty to hear from them. This is a government that wakes up and immediately works on any idea that filters in. Case study: Rotimi Amaechi loan from China. |

Officialgarri:They are protesting against Barawo Bubu's failed campaign promise to keep things under government control instead of selling them as Atiku proposed. Where is the integrity in CHANGEd promises of the next level? Can you see any integrity in the scam and fraud posing as www.nairaland.com/attachments/4273199_23933_jpegdbf13f9559bd803801ff359bf863c3d0 |

Maybe he is hiding the money abroad like Abacha and the new thief in town, Barawo Bubu? LandMann:Huncle, read the points those protesters raised They have very strong points Nigeria is a veryyyyyyyy annoying country And I often wonder why some people are proud to have a country where nothing works. Nigeria is too big one black man to manage. For how long do we continue to admire the advanced countries without making efforts to be like them? |
