Infact let them sale Nigeria to usa, canada or United Kingdom

Believe me Nigeria will then look like obodo oyibo,
The capitalist colonial masters left Nigeria too soon. How I wish they gave us independence in 1999.

This is one thing I hate about this country , all these incompetent corrupt junior civil servants never wants govt to privatise their incompetent organizations despite the fact the can't run it properly ..They deliberately create the rot so they can create a corrupt environment that benefits them ...Go to any airport run by FAAN you can't even use their toilet
Are you mind them? These are the type of nigerians that tell you that they are "due for promotion"!! Tell that to your boss in the private sector and you'll get sacked for suggesting that you are "due for promotion" on the basis of passage of time instead of performance.

These ones got aviation jobs through connection lipsrsealed
Of course private investors coming in would want to weed them out and replace them with capable hands.
So we agree, jobs will be lost, but they'll be replaced immediately.

Why won't they protest when they know that the concession would most likely lead to improved efficiency and block the channels through which they corruptly enrich themselves...

Protest my foot
What you don't know is far more than what you know.......what improved efficiency are you talking about ?
Who are those corrupt and enriching themselves ?

Tell me one company Atiku started by him self ?
Tell me one company started by Obasanjo from scratch by himself ?

Look at NDDC scandal......politicians interference has been the problem of civil service all along

The political class appoints the MDs and Directors of most government organization, tell me who signs what and what contracts and how government contracts are done. Who created the rots in the first place and who benefits more from the rot in the civil service ?

Have you asked yourself why this government choose concession over privatization and outright sale of the airports ?

And on what basis do they want to concession these selected airports over akure, Katsina, sokoto, bauchi, yola, Benin airports and the rest across the country ? Have you seen on which term the concessionaires are considered for this jobs and the conditions attached to running and remittance of money generated ?
I even heard Lagos state show interest in acquiring the Lagos airport at a time but......

Make research on those that gets NNPC contracts, appointments, employment etc

Check how much organizations generates in Nigeria and how much they remits to government......or you think its the politicians that generate the fund use in running the budget ?

What percentage of the budget do you think is generated by the private sectors ?

Make research on MMA2 BOT as well.

These are some of the questions begging for answers

All the airports in Nigeria should be privately owned and operated. Government should only be a regulator creating benchmarks, frameworks and standards. No company, institution or establishment in Nigeria should be bankrolled be the government.

You are very correct. They prefer easy money and high level of corruption. Most of them are doing their businesses at the Airports spending and making money anyhow. They are protesting for survival.

NNPC staff would also resist privatization. They are all feeding fat on public institutions. If you draw their attention to developed countries, they will remind you social benefits are available to masses in developed countries but not available in Nigeria.

There are steps to such thing and it includes calling a stakeholders meeting but the government is too lofty to hear from them.

This is a government that wakes up and immediately works on any idea that filters in.

Case study: Rotimi Amaechi loan from China.

But you supported Atiku in the last election or do you not know what they are protesting against?
They are protesting against Barawo Bubu's failed campaign promise to keep things under government control instead of selling them as Atiku proposed.
Where is the integrity in CHANGEd promises of the next level? Can you see any integrity in the scam and fraud posing as leader looter in Aso Rock?

So all the money he has been stealing is for this ugly thing while his village, LGA and state are poverty centres?
Maybe he is hiding the money abroad like Abacha and the new thief in town, Barawo Bubu?

This is according to Oke Omurhohwo the Manager Itel Mobile, He is alleging that The Nigerian Government Paid over N200m to Bahrain in other to create the National Carrier Logo, He said only the Logo cost $600,000, Thats over N200million.

Nigeria has “suspended” plans to launch a new national airline
September 20, 2018

Nigeria will not be getting a new national carrier in December or early 2019 as previously planned.

The national minister for aviation tweeted this evening (Sept. 19) that plans for the airline have been suspended. The plans for the new carrier, named Nigeria Air, complete with a logo unveiling, were announced at Farnborough, a renowned international aviation exhibition in London back in July.

The government claimed it would not own more than 5% of the airline, ceding control to private investors expected to invest $300 million in the new airline at inception.

Huncle, read the points those protesters raised

They have very strong points

Nigeria is a veryyyyyyyy annoying country

And I often wonder why some people are proud to have a country where nothing works. Nigeria is too big one black man to manage.

For how long do we continue to admire the advanced countries without making efforts to be like them?

Hope they concession our highways too.
