Option A (will come) appears to be the attractive right answer because tomorrow is yet to come, but the inclusion of option C (would come) negates it because the main verb (said) is in past tense. Imagine the statement was actually made three months ago and report it again. You have to use "would". Option A (will come) will be the correct answer if the main verb had been "says". 1 Like |
