Hello, sequel to my Previous post of getting a car, I would like to know the prerequisites or basic things that I should get when buying a car cash and carry. Also any thing I ought to look out for or check. What documents I’m go get on the spotting. Someone mentioned landing paper. Please any information would be great! Make no mistake I’m going with a mechanic but I believe nobody knows it all. It would be best going with some knowledge so I can question a thing or two if I feel something outta place. I intend getting a 2010 Camry full option.

And before paying, please spare 2k and go to customs office by yourself with the import papers to confirm the duty was FULLY paid. Thank me later.

Collect the car custom papers (or copy the C number) and head to any custom office (around Westminister/Warehouse/AutoWharf/FESTAC C-Close, etc), tell them that you want to confirm if the duty was paid. They'll check their system and get you a print out of the the events leading to the release of the car. I must tell you, this procedure is very important. You new car may be impounded even before you get home if you fail to do this.
