Ojiji Izhi 2020* Izzi is an ethnicity in Ebonyi which is dominant in Abakaliki zone of Ebonyi state. To is their new yam festival! By Nwite samuel mgbabor Hon. Barr Elizabeth Ogbaga commissioner for culture and Tourism Ebonyi state and family wishes to felicitates with people of IZZI NNODO EKUMENYI on celebration of Ojiji Izzi festival ( New yam festival) 2020 Ojiji festive marks the reawakening of Izzi huge cultural heritage and promotion of peace, hard-working, oneness, love , unity in Izzi Land, and eating of first fruit from the farm (yam) which signify moving from period of scarcity to period of abundant harvest. It's season of Thanksgiving, mending a broken relationship and totally reconciliation amongst Izzi sons and Daughters!
