After leaving my previous school where I was studying Animal physiology, I was not interested in the course, so I left for another course.

Now I'm in another school studying another course (human kinetics and health education), but alot of pple has been discouraging me about the course, they usually refer to us as jumpologist.

Is there anyone who studied the course here, what are ur experience and did the course contribute to your life.

What is human kinetics all about? Anyway if you are studying the course to gain knowledge then no course is bad, but if you plan on using the certificate to get a job then you will need to know someone that knows someone or else it will be difficult.

You're studying one of the best courses in the field of health education.

Seems to me like you don't know what you want, that's why you can allow simple words get to you. If they call you a "jumpologist", just smile and don't take it too seriously.

Have some confidence in yourself.

It seem your only problem with the Human Kinetics and Health Education is what people say by calling you "Jumpology". Well, my advice to you is that you drop out from the study like you did with your previous course and apply into another field that you won't be laughed out. Keeping dropping out of any course/ profession until you find a profession you won't be laughed at. Good luck

I studied Human Kinetics and Health Education in UNILAG, before then I studied PHE/Biology combination in AOCOED.

Take it from me, the name-calling and course-shaming will never stop.

You have to let it stop affecting it.

After 2years into the course, I started wearing my white and white to even general classes of students from LAW and the likes.

One rule in life is certain...

If you make fun of yourself first, the joke will not be funny coming from anyone else again.

THEM: *sees my white and white*
Ah! Which course is this one again?

ME: Jumpology.

THEM: What does it mean?

ME: We just jump upandan till we graduate.

Get it?

I am studying health education but I have friends studying human kinetics since we all are in the same department..

It's really good but everything still goes down to your self esteem and what you know..

People see the course as inferior but if you place yourself high and know what you are doing, I feel you can make the best out of it..
