The above news, coupled with additional tax burden by both State and Federal Govt, will make it extremely hard for any physical and digital content producers to maximize profits and the multiplier effects of this is that the tax burden will invariably be shifted to the end users, which in this case are the struggling masses.

What right does the LASG through the LSFVCB have to impose taxes on film makers when they already pay to the national body, they pay 7.5% VAT and also company income tax. What is this 5% exactly ? How is it calculated ? I keep saying apart from pointing fingers, Sanwo-Olu has absolutely no idea how to run a state. This draconian tax regime will surely be challenged in court
