Most of Europe, especially those under 35, is bilingual.
Go to countries like The Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Finland, Germany etc etc and you'll be able to get by with very little language issues.

And Portugal plus the French part of Belgium. The Flemish part (Brussels) are cool with English. French people are generally snobbish about English. If you see a French Canadian for example and ask them question in English they could easily tell you they don't speak, but if they are in a situation where they need to speak English, they will easily speak it.

Switzerland speak 3 languages already - French, Italian and German so they easily add English.

Them small countries like Lithuania have no choice but to speak English. Who get time to learn their language, even out of courtesy
