My sister has an RN certificate she got from a registered nursing school in Nigeria. She has no BSc. You mean she can practice in the UK with such certificate?

Yes, she can, she should write CBT, IELTS then she's good to go..

If you want to be self employed, you can go for pharmacy.

Why exactly should I be angry when I have the kind of life that most Nigerians want to have?

Serving you the dish that you cooked isn't anger, it is simply an exchange in kind.

You are angry because you seem hit with some elements of truth in what I'm saying, bitter truth

Envy? I'm feeding myself and my family, I have a job of my own, In fact I have a farm of my own, I wonder why I would be envious of other people's source of income, I don't envy it, I just condemn the greed and extortion by you guys

How many consultants earn up to 800k? The only reason a pharmacist can earn that money Is if he or she is a senior member of the management board.

You that own a farm and get profit from it you are not involved in greed and extortion right?

Well done, the condemn-er of the brethren. The chief accuser of the brethren.

The mechanic that repairs and services your car is not greedy when he collects his fee?
The market men and women that you buy stuffs from in the markets are not greedy when they make profit from you?

But the Pharmacists, the Doctors, the Nurses, that provide both professional services and pharmaceutical products are greedy, yes? Why? Because you feel they are rich, and because you belong to the group entitled Nigerians who believe those who have money by default owe the poor every thing.

Pele, chief condemn-er.

Actually, more than you realize. Right now, if you have questions about the data presented on that particular website, kindly direct your questions to them.

Perhaps I should also quickly mention that that information on that page only focuses on hospital pharmacists. Quite a number of pharmacists engaged in the business part make about that amount in ONE DAY. I am sure you will disagree again with that. But that is allowed.

An intern pharmacist in many of those hospitals take between 120k and 140k, and that is before NYSC. You don't have to argue this with me, locate a pharmacist that you can trust his/her words and then ask him/her.

By the way, I don't only have a well-paying job as a pharmacist, I also own a pharmaceutical company, a farm (including poultry), a financial services firm (co-owned with partners) and so on... Perhaps, you need an adjective that is much worse than "greed" to describe me since I am responsible for any condition that you might have.

For a guy which of them is most preferrable

Whether guy or lady, it depends on which clime you are in, if it is Nigeria, choose Pharmacy, job opportunities with excellent job security abound in this profession here as community pharmacies spring up everyday as most Nigerians have seen that community pharmacy is a necessary need in modern day Nigeria.
.
Abroad, Nursing, Nurses are in demand as there is a shortage in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. Recruitment agencies will even give you a work permit if you are in this profession on a platter of gold with a lot of perks too.

Another good one abroad is Dental Hygienist, pays a lot for minimal work.

You welcome.

Nursing

A universal discipline unlike pharmacy whose Nigerian certificate won’t allow you to make professional practice in correct countries.

To practise as a pharmacist in UK, one will need a year course to convert one’s certificate known as OSPAP diploma certificate before the professional exam. Unlike nursing which one can even use Nigeria diploma in nursing to write the CBT
gud day sis, pls I need info of the nursing course.someonw close to me wants to apply.how do I go about it thanks

I doubt if your brother is really a doctor like you're insinuating. Perhaps you're just using it to mask your hatred for doctors probably because you're one of those not privileged to get into medical school. It's pretty obvious you wanted to study medicine but you were denied admission. I understand your pain bro.

all I can say is that we shouldn't use the excuse of going abroad to deceive the innocent op. she should go for nursing if she loves taking care of people and seeing people recover. she should go for pharmacy if she loves outreach and answering to people's needs on time. i rather be a pharmacist than be a nurse because I will be very sound in drugs. medicine is for the prestige and nothing more. how much do nurses earn when they work with government 120k at most and 300k. If you work for like 20years. what is the need of me studying a course if I can't use it in Nigeria. Nigeria has a lot of brain drain in pharmacy. ineptitude of hospitals in purchasing facilities. I won't advice any pharmacist to work in hospitals. The richest health professionals in the world own pharmaceutical industries and make a lot of dollars. Red Rock can't match that. As a young pharmacist you make money early live a balanced life and not always on calls. how much does an intern doctor earn 120k. at most 150k. before you can make 300k and above, it is either you are a consultant 0or work in a multinational company. This means you must have worked for at least 5 years after internship. now calculate this 7 years course plus internship and at least 5years residency making it 13 years excluding strike some time even fifteen years and what about entering a residency another problem. sorry for drifting go for nursing or for pharmacy. you don't really need residency for pharmacy but you need guidance. There other courses like optometry and dentistry and many more. I know all of these because I have friends in the health sector

Midwives /nurses can own maternities. I know of one in Port Harcourt and she is making a lot of money especially in female issues.

i laugh when I see this coming from kids. my brother finished school before you even dreamt of writing jamb abi waec. I have doctor friends and I don't think they talk like this. i bet it with you that you must be in either 200 level or 300 level. let me tell you something if you have seen my posts. I got admitted to study medicine and I didn't go not because I am too proud but because I can't bear to see pains of people. i no fear blood my company i work many have had their hands cut off some burnt. you don't know anything. my brother says some doctors pay for patients. He hates it when a patient is dying and they are asking for police report. He doesn't even practice his full scope. don't use this as an excuse. you are a kid and I know it better prepare for your post jamb.

It might be easier to get to start practicing Nursing in a few countries like U.K than pharmacy. That being said the 2 professions are entirely different. I'm a pharmacist and I can practice in a country I want too, provided you follow the licensing steps. Also pharmacists are generally better paid than nurses anyways.
BEING EASY TO ACHIEVE DOESN'T IMPLY THAT IT'S A BETTER PROFESSION. Even in Naija it's faster to be a nurse, but can a nurse practice alone?
In all I would just say you go for what you find interest in
