The person you vote this week may be the one whose nomination would put Laycon up next week.
The person you vote to save this week may suddenly become strong next week, no one can 100% predict the dynamics.
The mobile app votes you use this week can not be reused next week for Laycon if he was up.
If your menial votes could save any HM next week, then the evicted HM(s) should never be a threat to Laycon.
