U re not right in ur assumptions.
Most Northern Nigerian are Moslems.
They are black Africans, though some minor tribes up there are of Arab descent.
The weather up there is same with that of the Middle East.
The topography is plain, sand with grasslands, short trees and deserts.
Their food ,clothing, social life and housing are greatly influenced by Islamic culture.

While most southern Nigerians are mostly Christians and traditionalists, freethinkers and atheists.
There are purely black Africans related to the Bantus
Clothing housing, social life and food influenced by the Western culture and their different native tribes.
Most of what you wrote there may be attributed to Northerners, that's the behaviour of an average Northerner.
They like Religion like crazy.
Everything is all about Allah and Mohammed.
Don't mention those two names if you don't want to provoke or slight them.
Else you know sword is one of the the symbols of Islam.
And you know what it's used for.
I'm born by Christian parents in Christian dominated society.
Yet, I do criticize Christianity and the Bible and all they say is "May God forgive you"

Well said, people from northern nigeria lives like they are arabs.
I visited that place, you will forget that they are Africans.
They don’t do african traditions, they perform arab traditions.
I also believe that they are from arab descents.
