pu7pl3:Stunt? What stunt did he pull? Standing up to expose the shambolic nature of the management? What would you have him do? Sit and watch the club being run down by incompetent nincompoops? Waste remain years of his divine life on a useless, passion less and unambitious club? How many players would do what Messi did? The saga awakened everyone. Everyone is up and doing. Motivation is high not to Bleep up. He might lack the motivational skills(on the pitch) that I've always criticized him for but he is a leader in several ways. Koeman being the manager is a good thing. He's outspoken and can speak to the team a lot, unlike valverde and Setien. So a little bit of burden is relieved off Messi. But tell me, asides pique(who is a good fit to some extent) , who should be captain? Roberto and Busquets (that aren't guaranteed starting place)? Alba? Griezmann? Dembele? Semedo? FDJ? Newcomer Pjanic? Or maybe we should give to Fati na? Someone spent 20 years of his life in a club and pushed the club to great Heights and you're questioning his captaincy status. 1 Like |
