Fatbabyfart:Several ethnic groups in Nigeria and in Africa actually practice it. I have seen the Hausas do it and even the people of Benue state, just to mention a few sha. |

It is a belief (albeit fetish) that those who drowned were summoned by the river goddess. Thus, they are buried by the river banks as sacrifice. 1 Like |
