Why are doctors in Nigeria like this? They don't treat you properly. The only thing they know is to give drug prescription and nothing more.

N:B-> I DO NOT MEAN ALL BUT A VAST MAJORITY.
Some years back when I went a teaching hospital on referral and I was being treated, I asked the doctor what my illness was and the only thing I was hearing was that I had an infection. INFECTION for crying out loud is that an illness condition?
I took a friend to a renowned hospital on the mainland Lagos and he asked what was wrong with him. All the Doctor could say was "Your blood is low and we would put you on drip". My guy wasn't just satisfied after they collected 26k from his hand for doing bed rest. He was pissed and further questioned the Doctor. The Doctor was angry saying he knows his job and saved my friend life.
I fell ill recently and I was always having pain in my belly(I know that stomach is an organ ABI)?and I was referred to a government hospital so I went to the government hospital because I believe they would do the right thing . They didn't even ask me to run test which I could pay or even tell me a private lab I could do the test. They just admitted me and put me on drip. Two days I was not getting better and they wanted to refer me to a teaching hospital. I said NO and I went to a big lab and several tests were run to see any flaw including X-ray . The results came out and it was malaria,H-pylori(Ulcer)and worms because they took a stool sample from me and I saw the results and they explained it to me, I even took it to some other professional Doctor to check it again. Thank God I did go there an I paid 54k for health chaii.
The only thing I know they do is to give drugs and na so I for die na. If I want drug wouldn't I go to a good pharmacy and pay lesser than the amount. Within this covid I spent over 100k because of negligence and how much am I earning mtcheew.
If you like chop your noble profession and you can't deliver, you are a foolish one.
IS IT THAT YOU GUYS ARE BANNED FROM TELLING YOUR PATIENTS THEIR ILLNESSES OR YOU DON'T JUST KNOW?
N:B--> if you like quote me out of context if you are a Doctor or your child or relatives are part of them, use your brains.
NOBODY SHOULD TELL ME IT'S BECAUSE OF IT IS BAD FACILITIES THAT CAUSED IT. This is a common saying by the Doctors because if facilities are important you guys ought to make it a priority but una put am as Laissez-faire (anything goes) and you guys take salary seriously but not like the way una take rehabilitating the hospitals.
PEOPLE ARE DYING AND I WOULD HAVE DIED ALSO. I have been to private hospitals and the government owned is such a shame most of the time

You are quite right on this. Most especially private hospitals, they love to rip patients apart. I have not been to any hospital or health institution in over a decade now, i make food my medicine and my medicine my food. Infact i try to adopt healthy lifestyles. More importantly i dey gum GOD wella.
If a person has some kind of ailments in this country and is poor. Na six feet be dat o.
