Nigerians are currently protesting in Ojuelegba part of Lagos state over anti-people policy, hike in electricity tariff and petrol price in the country.

Earlier this month, Electricity distribution companies (DisCos), across the country implemented a new electricity tariff regime.

This the protesters have kicked against saying that it is an anti-people policy.

Bravo guys...Just look at how those policemen are angrily looking at the sensible protesters. Meanwhile the living conditions of these policemen is very pitiable, but they are the first to malhandle those who protest for the collective good of the country. For those who are suffering and keeping quiet, hunger will become a natural keto diet to give you weight loss to a nepa pole size.

Government has no right to stop peaceful protest but only to listen to what people are complaining about. This is in a country where the Government respect her citizens.

No we must not
But we must
But how can he be a must
But nacking is a must
Staffing is a must
Banging is a must

Interesting. There is nothing wrong in protesting, the NPF should just guide and ensure that there's no disruption to other people's businesses and life and property.

The cops too needs proper armed gadgets to face protesters, not just carry belle go. This is a major reason why things like this can easily snowball out of control.

The greatest enemy of Nigerians is the present administration

Fuel hike, import duty hike, exchange rate hike (u might not understand if you are not in it), electricity tariff hike, even transport fare now ok high side, LBSL that supposed to be last hope of common man have increased their fare by over 50% yet salaries no increase

Jonathan is not a perfect man but I think he still has some human feelings to some extent

We say no to hike in cost of living

I was in Abuja last week,Abuja people were only protesting on radio..

The case is different in Lagos..i saw/met the protest today but didn't join undecided(my bad)

But what I want to know is if these policemen & women are not Nigerians or whether they don't feel the heat of all these hikes??

I stand to be corrected,we all know the price hike is affecting us all.. So security people should join the protest.( I rest my case)

This is not the time to increase fuel price in our darling nation at all.

Not with all that is going on around the world, pandemic et al,
When people are finding it difficult to survive.

This is part of the same reason we voted out the party of thieves and criminals.

THIS IS NOT THE CHANGE WE VOTED FOR.

The same way we sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians praised this government when they reduced fuel price sometimes ago, we should make sure we put our voice together to castigate and talk against this.

That is the voice the government will listen to,
Not the voice of children of hate, frustration and perdition that have never seen any good thing in our country,
That all they do is to wail continously in life.
They even wailed when the price was reduced.
They have been wailing since PMB won the election, even before swearing in!
They are not wailing for the common man like (Omotola) and all other sane and honest people are doing, but they are wailing in pain that the corrupt money being shared to them by the losers they support is not forthcoming anymore.
They have been so used to corruption, they see it as a way of life.
That is what we stand against.

WE SAY NO TO FUEL PRICE INCREASE.
A better Nigeria for all is all we want.

allthingsgood:
They are just playing to the gallery

When u said u want deregulation what did u think will happen. Nigerians should stop being stupid. Govt didn't increase price, what u are paying is the actual price without subsidy or regulation
You may have some good and salient points here sir,
But, the timing is not just right at all
Not in this pandemic time.

Before them increase fuel they should have at least made sure electricity is steady so that dependence on fuel would reduce.

Increase fuel then increase electricity price same time.

Nepa bill don increase but we have not had light since 5th of September.

The kind of wickedness for this country no be here
