All senators past and present in Edo South where the real battle is have just endorsed Obaseki. Seems the game is over for POI, he can always contest again in 2024 but he stands no chance in present election.

Sources close to Ize Iyamu said he was in tears at the news.

Edo South (Benin) is where the battle is. Edo central is PDP through and through. Edo North is a battle between Oshiomhole and deputy gov Philip Shuaibu.
