1.US Armed Forces are explicitly forbiden to carry out policing functions. They can intervene in an ongoing crime to APPREHEND and DETAIN a suspect BUT can NOT effect an arrest. They are expected to contact the local law enforcement agencies , LEAs to pick up and ARREST the suspect.

2. The deployment of regular and special US armed forces on US soil by the US President is FORBIDEN! This applies to armed drones and other combat aircrafts. Over US territorial waters, ONLY the US Coast Guard is empowered to police and secure the US coastal areas alongside local LEAs, Customs, DEA and the ATF.

3. The only troops allowed to be deployed on US soil are the respective State National Guard on the sole authority of the State Governor and they are limited in their activities to said state only.

Now consider our own Armed Forces, that have seen he vast majority of their deployment within Nigeria engaging civilians (mostly unarmed).

But the most sickening aspect is how the air Force has conducted combat operations only within Nigerian airspace targeting Nigerians.

No other adminstration has ordered bombings over Nigeria than the Buhari govt. One of Buhari's first military orders occurred just a few days after being sworn-in was to bomb a remote riverine community in Cross River claiming it was a kidnappers then later smugglers then later Militant camp.

Then there is the bombing of a border community between Lagos and Ogun targeting pipeline vandals.

The bombing of a UN IDF camp in Rann, Borno also comes to mind.

Now, the Nigerian Armed Forces are full of lame excuses on why they are yet to eliminate both BH and Fulani Terrorists.

The Air Force excuse is either lack of Intel or that their missions are leaked to the terrorists before hand. The latter was the major excuse which the Air Force said it was the reason they are yet to flush out Fulani bandits in their not so hidden camps in Zamfara and Katsina

Now consider again also that the Air Force has a permanent base in both Katsina and Zamfara from where they claim to carry out sorties on terrorist bases in these states. I don't see how a major terrorist base can quickly be abandoned within minutes of a fighter jet or combat helicopter taken off from their bases. Even if they do have such good Intel based from solely observing flight operations out of the Air Force Base, there is no way on Earth that they could quickly pack up and disappear completely from their location. Even if they could, the fighter jets or combat helicopters which is only minutes away in any direction and location of those states would definitely encounter them.

I think it is high time the Nigerian military is purged and their roles delianated to ONLY engaging external threats.

This is the same army that over the course of Nigeria's history has abandoned their constitional roles to dabble in political adminstsrton, policing and other misadventures that have plunged this nation to sh!t.

Let them face their work abeg.

One of the ways to know a failed or failing state is that no clear line differentiates the duty of the paramilitary from military.

The Chief of Army Staff and that of the Airforce are not on speaking terms as they both blame each other for their gross failure in the NE.

As for the fulani terrorists in the NW, nothing whatsoever is done by both the army and airforce to check them.

Can you explain why Kaduna - the heart of Nigeria's military is under fulani and BH terrorists ? Both the Army and the Airforce have their apex bases in that state.

You can continue your ipob deflection but the fact is, nothing is being done to stop the Jihadist in the NE and NW.

The Jihadist will run once the people are not being killed by the same military whenever they stand to defend themselves .

The military by all indications is protecting the Jihadist and not the people.

They should simply tell us they are with the Jihadist terrorists and declare war on us openly and see how that will end up.

Every sane person knows the military is deliberately sabotaging their own war efforts.

Or have you asked yourself why Idris Derby decided to lead his Chadian army deep into Nigeria to engage BH without bothering to inform Buhari and the military ?

Go and sit down.

Without Aso Rock and the military tacit backing and protection, those TB infested Fulani terrorists do not stand a chance.

Just one man with less than a hundred men checked fulanis in Benue.

Why do you think they ordered him to be murdered after agreeing to an amnesty deal?

Your sense is obviously on Zombie mod and the only reason I am even answering you is so you don't decieve others with your foolish slavishness.

and who the useless army protect?

The point of this thread is to highlight how useless they are compared to other standing armies.

Let the people defend themselves and see if these Fulanis will not run away from Nigeria.

Or have you not heard how they were chased out from CAR by civilian militias?

Besides, I did not force any of them to join the army. If they can't or won't do their work they should resign .

It is that simple.

And if they think we are not grateful enough to them despite how they let the Fulani roam free, then they should leave us to take care of our fulani vermin problem.

The US Military deployment doctrine is akin to that of pre-Caeear Rome where troops are barred from entering the Roman Capital.
