This umidigi seems to be problematic. This is one of the reasons why I abhor cheap stuffs with mouth watering offers.

She didn't drop it, and no cracks or scratches, It's still very clean as new.

She started complaining that it pops shows during WhatsApp video call, then all of a sudden it filled the whole screen.

The customer care rep (Folashade) made an erroneous mistake to tell him the item is no longer eligible for return. He or she just calculated 7days from the day it was delivered, didn't bother checking through because if he'd checked he would have seen that the return policy is still very much active. That was on 9th of September... Today is 18th of September, it has actually past the 15days return request now

But if initial complain was made within the period, it's still a valid claim.........


Was jumia notified of the fault, within the claim period?......

But his return request was made on the 9th September, that's the day we should be looking out. If it were me I'd follow up on this case, secondly, he bought the phone from Jumia mall, so the return policy still covers him.

Whosoever the Folashade chap is should bear the brunt of the error and not the customer. Goes to show how incompetent our client service personnels are.

@stevengold if u're in Lagos, go to the e-centre at Sabo Yaba, with all Ur evidence and ask to speak to the head customer service person. And present Ur case.

U can go there tomorrow before 2pm.

My point exactly, Jumia actually acknowledged the date of his compliant.

So his case is still very valid. If Na me I go don use call finish their life....

This happened barely 9 days after purchase of umidigi a7 Pro for a customer on jumia.

And I called, and sent an email they said I've passed the deadline for returning of items. I'd advise not to get this device, it's really frustrating. And it's looking as though I adviced my client wrongly. The weight is now on me.

And nothing happened to the phone, no crackes or scratch to put up a defence.

And it's surprising how the price keeps falling. I bought this 43k on jumia, now its 39k or so.

And I don't think they even have a repair center here in PHC. It's quite sad.

I noticed something like this on my phone just last week Friday a week after I took delivery of the phone.
I immediately press the power button twice.
Thank God my condition isn't permanent.

To be sincere I think those of you that brought yours immediately after release date, brought the first batch. and those are the best ones. the reprint batch has been giving people alot of issues. I see more reason why is even less cheaper, despite high increase in foreign exchange.

Does it mean we should not buy the product again for now??. Have made an order for mine which will be delivered by Monday. make i know if na to reject am. I no need anything wey go stress me rn ontop bad product abeg.

screen recorded videos can't be uploaded on WhatsApp status because they are not encoded for WhatsApp.
