kolisokoloko my brothers from the east shouldn't behave like those from the land and region of allahu kabar that derieve joy in begging deception and killing and moving about with cattle polluting and creating nuisance all over the place my people need to embrace peace and not learn bad things from those from the northern side 1 Like |

IGBOSON1: Is it a new thing? I just did what the Ibos have been doing by leaving their own state in ruins and care so much about other people states. Don’t cry because it is the same exact replica of what you’ve been doing. Now what do you have to say to this news? Don’t you think the leaders of the Igbos need to call a meeting to this constant war and killings over few pieces of lands. 1 Like |

Philipponzaghi: Hope you’re not referring to Lagos...built with the proceeds of Niger-Delta oyel and gas (of which a large percentage came from Alaigbo...ONELGA) and the collective commonwealth of all Nigerians!? But don’t let me interrupt your hate and bigotry inspired posts....made because you think you’re dealing Ndigbo a ‘devastating’ e-blow! By all means, knock yourself out! 1 Like |

IGBOSON1: In your thinking, it was built with Niger Delta money but the Niger Delta themselves with the highest allocation can’t even compete with her. What is the brain behind that? How much is Lagos allocation from the FG? Do you know Lagos generates more revenue than what it receives from the FAAC monthly? Do you know how much Lagos contribute to VAT and beside the oil revenue, Lagos generates the highest revenue for the FG. Your states with the oil revenue are unproductive because you can’t give what you don’t have (productivity). Take Delta for example, see the huge allocation they receive from the FAAC, what have they achieved with it? What about the tiny Bayelsa with her allocation, besides oil money, most of those states are dead economically. What does that tells you? Lastly, the Igbos only have few cup of oil, the crude Oil in Ondo state is more than any Igbo state. So what exactly do you mean by the Igbo generating oil revenue? 3 Likes |

History555: Exactly, the Igbos don’t care what happen in their house but can give their life for what happens in other state. Edo election is for Edo state, your own land is a killing den where people kill over few plot of lands but you are not concerned. You will only be concerned if it happened in Kano or if they say a herdsman struck in Jigawa. 1 Like |

Philipponzaghi: Yes! Lagos, which served as the capital of Nigeria up until the early nineties, was built up to its present status and continues to be sustained primarily from the proceeds of Niger-Delta oyel and gas, as well as the commonwealth and effort of all Nigerians! Where do you think the money came from to sand-fill and build the national arts theatre, Iganmu....FESTAC town....Murtala airport...Tin Can and Apapa ports....national stadium....the numerous flyovers.....etc!? You think they all suddenly appeared after saying the magic word, abracadabra? Or you think they were built from proceeds of cocoa exports? Lagos was built as explained above, and has now benefited from these projects and its status as the former capital and present commercial and industrial hub of ‘one Nigeria’ to be able to sustain itself economically! This advantage led to it now being able to attract millions of Nigerians, foreigners and investments both from Nigeria and from abroad! It’s not rocket science! If Calabar or Port Harcourt had a similar history, they would be what Lagos is today! You think having the headquarters of banks, multinational oil coys, foreign missions (where Nigerians go for visa applications), blue-chip coys like Nestle, PZ, etc, and serving as the main gateway in and out of the country....you think all these and more wouldn’t give Lagos an unfair advantage over the likes of Port Harcourt, Warri and Uyo? Governance in the Niger-Delta states is no different from governance in Lagos! Thing is, Lagos has, to all intents and purposes, been closed to outside scrutiny and accountability since 1999 as its been the personal property of Tinubu! Whoever governs is at his pleasure and is there to protect his business and political interests! Let another party and governor not beholden to Tinubu take over the reins of governance in the state and you’d be surprised at the series of can of worms that will be opened! Dude, at this your age you don’t know Igboland extends into the so called ‘south-south’? Yes it does, and ONELGA (my own LGA) in Rivers state has the largest onshore reserves of oyel and gas even more than the entire Yorubaland! It’s Igbo haters like you that carved it into Rivers state in the ongoing quest to try and decimate Ndigbo economically and to try and limit our territory! But God pass una! |

Re: Punch: Four killed in Anambra Communal Crisis, 13 Houses Destroyed by Philipponzaghi: 5:39pm On Sep 20, 2020 |
IGBOSON1: You are saying nonsense tbh by not attributing Lagos success to the leader steering the ship. You guys all fail to give the APC the required praise in how they are making Lagos. If the other zones have the productivity like Lagos, they would have been developed and attract investments like Lagos is attracting hers. PDP mismanaged the oil proceeds from those SS states while they continually tell their people that their problem is Lagos. See the case of Akwa-Ibom Governor for example with his work where you can see him creating industries and I can top Akwa-Ibom to be the best thing in the SS if successive Government can follow that template and you will see that foreign investors will start coming enmasse to the state. Lagos has that ability because of continuity and the fact that Tinubu always select the best brain to lead her in all level of governance. Most state in Nigeria are useless to the extent that if a governor is building an infrastructure and he was voted him, his successor abandon that and then start and new one which he won’t complete. Take Ogun state for example, the Abeokuta city center is a great project by Amosun but since Dapo came in, work is somehow slow in that project simply because It was not his own creation. Even Buhari was able to make impact in infrastructures because he completed those project of past government some as far back as the 1980s. Lagos is not like that because they all see those projects like a blueprint and all governors make sure to follow the template which always birth development. The only one that deviated somehow from that template is Ambode who abandoned a lot of project of his predecessors. Quota system don’t apply to private companies, if they see prospect in other states they will do away with Lagos and invest in those places. Isn’t that why Ogun state now has more industries than any other states in Nigeria outside Lagos? Is the federal projects only in Lagos? What about the federal infrastructures on other states and Abuja? Has it increased Abuja productivity outside government patronage? What is the GDP of Abuja since it has seen such massive investment by the government? Let me tell you something, if you don’t know how to manage money, even if you are handed a million dollars you might still be not as productive as someone with 500thousand dollars. That is the case of the oil producing SS states. They collect enormous allocation with less population but yet squander it mercilessly while their leaders tell them Nigeria is the problem alone. What have you done with what you have? 1 Like |

Philipponzaghi: You know i've noticed quite a few of your posts and it's becoming clear just what you are: a Tinubu lackey.....a Yoruba with a strong streak of arrogance and misplaced sense of importance. You make post after post trying to defend your position that Lagos is the 'success' it is today (you're probably looking at it through your rose-tinted ethnic lens) owing to the wonders of 'good governance' from its governors from 1999 to date. Ambode is the only possible exception and hiccup in this your analysis of 'brilliance' of leadership in the state. It's quite presumptious of you to assume i'm agreeing with your false narrative that governance in Lagos has been a success! I put it to you that, given the economic enablers already on ground in the state.....given the fact Lagos has gained economic traction based on the large market available to it.....given these facts, i put it to you that even Mickey Mouse could run that state and achieve same results as the ones you're now hailing as a roaring a 'success', and Goofy couldn't make a worse hash-up of governance like has been done in the state by subsequent administrations since 1999! Whatever 'productivity' you want to claim Lagos has (and indeed, compared to other states in the country it does come out tops)....this is inspite of the greedy and shady character Tinubu and subsequent puppets he has installed as governors, and not owing to any 'brilliance' in their governance! If you scoundrels in APC and your god Tinubu are so brilliant, how come we're not seeing similar ecomomic indices in other APC states in the south-west like Ogun, Oyo, Osun and Ondo? Remember, you claimed Lagos' success has nothing to do with its air and sea ports (which by ommission or commission have been made the major gateways into and out of the country)....nothing to do with its diversity that sees it host the greatest mix of Nigerians and the highest population of any state in the country.....the presence of blue-chip coys like NESTLE, PZ, GUINESS, etc......the presence of consulates of foreign countries, where Nigerians go for visa applications....the presence of the headquarters of all multinational oil and gas coys......etc. Your argument is all the aforementioned advantages are not what gives Lagos an edge over other cities like Port Harcourt, Warri, Uyo, Enugu, etc......rather your argument is that Lagos is the 'success' it is today owing to the 'good governance' of APC via Tinubu and the stooges he crowns as governors! You see why i say you're arrogant and have your heads in the clouds? Like i said before, let another party or governor not annointed by Tinubu take over the reins of power in the state. Only then can we say for sure that Lagos hasn't been shortchanged by your god and his coven of witches called APC, and that governance from 1999 to date has been in keeping with best practice! Dude, i know you're a unrepentant APC minion, but never use Buhari and fairness in the same sentence! This is a man that stopped the Jakande Lagos metroline after he stole power through a coup in 1983. He didn't even mind that by cancelling the contract, Lagos would have to pay a hefty penalty for reneging on the already signed agreement! Whatever he appears to be doing today in Lagos and the south-west is not out of a sense of fairness and caring, but is done as part of his plan for greedily attracting as much projects and federal presnce to his core muslin north. Either the project is needed in the south-west for the one in his core north to take off (like the railways), or he has to replicate in the south-west what he's doing in the core north so it doesn't look like he's just concentrating on his region (like the airport terminals)! All his actions are driven by core islamic north first before other regions! He's a horrible, nepotistic bigot and nasty piece of work! I see you mentioned Ogun as a example of Tinubu/ APC good governance! Yet again, whatever Ogun has achieved by way of economic benefits are primarily due to its proximity to Lagos, and it taking the opportunities Lagos can no longer handle due to space constraints and its unweildy population. You do know Obasanjo gov't reticulated gas supply to power Oguns industrial estates and make them more attractive to businesses seeking to relocate from Lagos? Now ask yourself, if all regions are treated fairly and no one region is seen to be positioned to be treated better than others....ask yourself why wasn't a similar venture done for Aba, Onitsha or Nnewi? When Ogun starts to benefit from being given gas supply to its industrial estate (while Aba, etc are left with nothing), someone like you will rise up the next day and declare the economic traction is down to Tinubu and his puppet governor in the state! I have no facts before me that can help buttress your assertion that oil producing states in the Niger-Delta are any less good in governance than your Tinubus' Lagos! Just what is on ground in Lagos for the masses that can be said to be as a result of all the tens of billions of dollars that Lagos claims to have spent from 1999 to date? |
