The truth is that elections have been won and lost.

Many blame the President and I don't know why. Should the President had gone to Edo to vote or send his security people to run Edo down?

There is a winner and there is a loser.
If the loser isn't satisfied, there are ways to seek redress.

Exactly! President Buhari has said it well, to Obaseki.."Enjoy your win in Grace and humility"( not exactly put)

Afterall, every battle Oshiomhole has fought, won and lost, is because of Tinubu.

As APC chairman, he fought Tinubu's battles. All the Governors and Ministers that had/have 2023 Presidential ambition, automatically became Oshiomhole's enemies, and he tried so hard to wrestle the APC party structures from them, in their respective states.

He did it with Ibikunle Amosun in Ogun state, Yari in Zamfara state, Rotimi Amaechi in Rivers, Rochas Okorocha in Imo.

That is aside the dirty work in places like Lagos (to silence Ambode), Oyo ( to silence Tegbe). The only reason Fayemi got the APC ticket for Ekiti was because Buhari was behind him gidigba.

Tinubu and Oshiomhole were fronting Segun Oni. Opeyemi Bamidele even got shot in the arm by unknown people during a rally for Fayemi.

So, Baba Tinubu just go and calm down abeg.

.woman talking politics, sha food don ready for house? lol.

Hmm. APC as a party is so unfortunate. I think the after-effect of the activities of past govt and administrations affected them...and her policies are unfavourable to the masses

Well, you may be right to a large extent ,but Agboola is a nobody (despite being a Former deputy gov) ,especially running under the platform of ZLP(mimiko's package). The people of Ondo state doesn't align with Mimiko no more. Let's keep observing...

The part in bold is extremely inaccurate. Agboola is still the deputy governor of the state and arguably the strongest politician from Ese-Odo/Ilaje as at today. He will get majority of votes in Ondo south.

I am not saying he can win the election but he will do enough damage to Jegede thereby helping Akeredolu to get re-elected.

ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU SPEAKS ON EDO JUST CONCLUDED POLL!!!

"We should enjoy and take pleasure from our defeats as much as we take from our victories.

The extent and length they go to see us down shows how great we are.

Our defeats should be a lesson that we are not gods, that we are but men.

That we are mortals who suffer from set backs, betrayals... But if our fellow men see us as gods and celebrate our defeats like they've defeated gods, then surely we must be close to being gods.

They seek schadenfreude at our shrine but we only have to give, exactly what they hate us for.

-Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This is a character of a true leader; gracious in defeat as much as in victories, a man who provides to his team succour in the midst of a defeat. Unlike a certain Okorocha who's whining like a he-goat.

kiss the truth!

Tinubu Jagaban, you should also give them one time to celebrate after their numerous defeat.

Saraki -gone
Fayose - gone
Dino Melaye- gone
Atiku - demolished
and etc.

Naturally politics is about win and losses but like you said, for them to have celebrated this one victory they have after their numerous losses showed that you are close to being a god.

Asiwaju Jagaban!

The outcome of Edo election has no bearing on Ondo election. When APC lost Ekiti in 2014 to Fayose, the party restrategized and won Osun a month later despite the heavy handedness of Jonathan in that election.

APC's major problem in Ondo is the internal wraggling within the party. As things stands now, they have been able to achieve about 90% reconciliation. The outcome of Edo will even push them to unite and for more for the party. The fact that the current deouty governor is contesting is also a plus to APC. Those opposed to the governor's re-election will share their votes between Jedege and Agboola. I can't see a path to victory for PDP in Ondo election.
nobody shares vote with little known party, the fight is usually a two horse fight, now it is between APC and PDP zlp can only come a distance 3rd

Absolutely correct! It was segun oni that Oshiomhole and tinubu wanted but Buhari came through for fayemi. I still see fayemi getting the apc presidential ticket. He seems to enjoy the support of most of the apc governors.

It's not Buhari but the presidency. There are people who do the interference for the president. They did it for yahaya bello in kogi. For them to not do it this time, it means there's something underneath that we might not know yet. It will manifest in the coming months before the presidential election. You'll see the difference in ondo election.
