Some weeks ago I saw a story of a guy who got defrauded and he banks with zenith bank.After the scam he felt all was lost but then he reported to his bank Zenith and impressively they reached out to the fraudsters bank and notified them and actions where taken and he got his money back.But why is it different with Gtb?I really felt bad because I got defrauded in a Job scam sometime last year of almost 80k by one guy using union bank and I reported this to my bank gtb and nothing has been done about it uptil now..even after i provided details to them..its so shameful seeing how another bank has the intrest of its customer at heart and helped him recover his money but my own bank did nothing.

You should had sent a mail to GTB's fraud desk copying CBN. Such information had being circulating on social media earlier this year, that possibly could be what the Zenth bank's customer did.

I think it's do to our selfish nature that make Nigerian bank to feel less concern when their customer is defrauded by another Bank customer, because I know they have all it takes to apprehend the fraudster if they care.

The question you have to ask yourself is "Is it legitimate to pay for a job offer?"

Be realistic with yourself bro I hope you have not forgotten this is nigeria and things like this has become the norm unfortunately. Besides he said the money was for forms and application processing fee..And by the way the guy with Zenith banks issue was worse than mine but they still helped him get his money back from the fraudsters but i was just trying to secure a job for myself and not go into fraud or any illegal means to get money to survive in this harsh economy so what wrong is that?
