Phone Gurus, Should I Buy This Phone? The Price Is Too Good To Be True. by Drdreyy: 11:46am On Sep 22, 2020
Though old fashioned, but it still packs all the specs that i like.

But the price is scaring me. I don't think any genuine hauwei product can be this cheap or could it be because it is old-fashioned?

Guys help me decide before i place my order.

And who can explain the meaning of that price cancellation ? I feel that is the original price and a drop of over 30K is simply unrealistic. I just hope it is not a refurbished phone.

*Update*

-It runs on android 7.0
-It has 4G LTE
-HD Display

Are you advising me to go for it?

And do you understand the meaning of that original price cancellation? Is it a Kind of promo or what? A 38K drop is unrealistic. I just hope it wont be a refurbished phone.

It all depends on the phone seller....

Since u like it you can get it...

Sometimes sellers want to sell off there goods....

I'm sure some will tell you to return it if u don't like it

The phone is a very phone. If it's refurbished, it will be stated clearly on Jumia. Go ahead with your purchase.

Do Hauwei support Google services.
Anyways some seller might cut an old or false price to make it looks good. E.g crate of eggs N1750 -> N1100. You know quite right that eggs cost N900 - N1250

I hope you saw ships from abroad. So the phone is probably not in stock here. If you really like the phone take your money to a shop and buy in person. If someone is selling that cheap on Jumia, then there's a shop out there that'll sell at same price.
FYI: With the specs of the phone, it's not so cheap. Who'd buy 2gb for 59k?

If it seems too good to be true, its usually safer to ignore it. But if you're totally convinced it is what you want, then make sure you buy from a well known authorized dealer.

Spec wise it isn't bad.
As for whether you wanna pull the trigger on purchasing or not is up to you.

Check if there is a warranty or return back clause attached to the phone. You can equally cross-check the phone on other online stores like konga

Don't buy. The specs are too low. 5.0, that's lollipop, when 10.0 os is knocking on the door.

I dont think it will still be available in retail stores here in Naija. It was launched in 2017.

Bro it is too cheap at 21k (total cost plus shipping is 26k) It has 4G LTE and utilizes a snapdragon processor.

Not too low. It runs on android 7.0, It has 4G LTE and a snapdragon processor. ..that is what xiaomi, tecno and infinix are selling for over 50K now, except for their bigger screens and battery

Yeah, the total is 26K. Still too cheap for a phone that has 4G LTE, a snapdragon processor, 13mp camera and HD display. All coming from a reputable brand like Hauwei whose phones are very expensive.

The original price cancellation is just an audio, don't mind them, the phone initially worth less than 30k, don't mind the 38k. Is just for attracting gullible customers.

Did you say worth less than 30k? Oga if you check the original price of that phone online, it is between 55K to 115K. Huawei phones are very expensive.

When you know you know it all, why did u come here for people's opinion. How would you say a phone running on Andriod 7.0, screen size 5.0 is too cheap for 21k in year 2020 and to make it worst, the item will be shipped abroad which will make the price to be higher than that and it will not come down to Nigeria until a month or more than that.... There are many factors that make it that price. Had been the price is quoted more than 30k, would you have have bought as a fair price?

That's the real price. That drop in price is a marketing strategy.

E.g if a product is 100k, I ll write 150k and slash it to 100k to attract customers to pity the seller for drastically bringing his price down

Impossible. That phone cannot be 21K. Check the price online, it is between 55K to 115K.
Huawei phones are like Samsung and Iphone, very expensive. Samsung and other elite brands will never sell any phone with 4G LTE, finger print scanner, HD screen, 13mp camera, snapdragon processor etc.....for that ridiculously low price.
