Governor Godwin Obaseki is the MAN I want to meet. A man who understands that life essentially is a battle. Such a man is surely a man to associate with, even if it means to be his shoe shiner; atleast you will learn how to stand firm, learn the culture of a victor. Nothing you desire ever comes to you just like that; Obaseki truly understands this. A man who could not be stopped even by the powers that be; such a man is surely the man to associate with. Even if it means to be his bag carrier. He refused to surrender, refused to retreat, he marched on to victory even in the face of giant oppositions.. Governor Godwin Obaseki's victory in the just concluded Edo Governorship elections reminded me of a biblical tale; David and Goliath. Obaseki's act of bravery is indeed worthy of note. A man who believes in the power of association, partnership; such a man is the man to associate with. He believed that partnering with the people of Edo would be his sure ticket to victory.. I respect the MAN , Governor Godwin Obaseki. I dearly pray and hope I get to see him , just for a hand shake... NB: I'm not a politician, I'm not from the high class, not even from the middle class.
