Atouke:Ogun and Lagos states will become richer without Nigeria.Lagos is not the 5th economy in Africa for nothing. The sucking tongue of the FG will be off the port etc.Lagos could become the first economy in Africa. Most bouyant economies are always indebted because lenders are wont to lend them money because they can easily pay. Lagos state makes a revenue of more than 40 billion in a month and will easily payvits debt if they want to but most viable entities like Lagos and the USA know why they do not quickly pay off their debts.Nobody will lend money to Anambra and the other poor states because they are poor,in fact dead without Nigeria. |

Obamaofusa:I'm still wondering how Lagos and Ogun states will become richer without Nigeria. Is that even possible? If to say Nigeria broke up along the three major ethnic groups or even four if south south is to be by themselves, how will it happen? The economical advantages the two states enjoy because of being attached to Nigeria will be lost. In short this population you see everyday in those states will be reduced by half in first few years of separation. The economic prosperity, Lagos enjoys being the unofficial business capital of Nigeria will be lost and without Lagos, Ogun will cease to be viable. So if you dey boast of Lagos and Ogun, abeg no boast carry alpha dash them without Nigeria |

Atouke:No, the pilot will still be able to send his kids to school and live in a big house. His living standard would be higher than that of the civil servant. All because he is a big boy who can borrow and borrow and borrow just to keep up with the Joneses. At the end of the day, the civil servant would be happier. |

Grgton:It's only hard for you to understand because of your erhnic biases. For us it's very obvious and easy to see that when your expenditures outweighs your income you are broke ! That where Lagos is. The state makes N516billion and owes N555 billions. That's a red balance sheet. |

Vickygirk:Have you forgotten that we practiced regionalism and Yorubaland especially the capital,Ibadan became the most developed, richest and most progressive place that Western region, the Yorubas had to lend money to Nigeria because you all made it bankrupt. If there is no Nigeria,Yorubaland would have been like Dubai or even better. We have done it before is a genuine testimonial not we will do it. |

Obamaofusa:You fooled yourself on this comment bro, nigeria government made lagos what it is, killed all other port, and gave lagos the monopoly, ogun is a remnant of lagos influence The truth is the east has better prospects than the west if nigeria breaks as it stands |

Obamaofusa:. It's no longer Lagos and Ogun being richer without Nigeria, now Oyo state has joined.. You brag a lot. What is of economical value of those days isn't obtainable in today's world market. Meaning; "I get am before no be property". So cry me a river!. |

gregyboy:lol What is the East going to be doing differently if Nigeria breaks? During regionalism, the east was backward, today, they are the most poverty stricken in the south and has the least internally generated revenues and all their states cling onto the FG feeding bottle. Now that it seems that the North is becoming more unreliable and deadly with its numerous ills and not wanting capable people to govern Nigeria,it is a matter of time before kaboom. What will the east do differently with its landlocked nature. Plan,plan,plan... One who fails to plan, plans to fail. |
