People will not even bother to understand the context of things before forming opinion.
They (the 3 returnees) where among the 10 of the 12 duly inaugurated members that had been sitting with them in government house before they chose to pitch tent with POI (they had hitherto refused to decamp to PDP). I knew Shuaibu was setting up moles in APC typical of politicians (though some people were cajoled here and though money was offered them by Capt Hosa). The condition of a WIN-WIN situation was for them to feed Obaseki strategic information about the APC, if PDP had lost, they would still have gained after all.
Now, they are ready to represent their constituency as' loyal' opposition force in the assembly. Abaje is not returning as Deputy speaker but just member of a minority (APC). Obaseki is doing this to change the narrative, now APC (EPM) has no case again. Its all politics 101.
PS: The SSG and Deputy Governor are the political gladiators that have helped Obaseki, else he would have kow-towed since; these checkmate moves are beyond him.

is this your narrative borne out of fiction or fact? we all followed the Edo election so I don't think you need to insert things that really has non-existent status into the scene.
