Months ago, there were reports that the Gionee company was practically dead. However, apparently, that is not the case. We now have the Gionee S12 as well as the Gionee S12 Lite. According to reports, the Gionee S12 Lite will launch in Nigeria on October 5.

The Gionee S12 is an affordable smartphone with pretty decent specifications Sporting a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display, the phone uses the MediaTek Helio A25 chipset. This is the same SoC in the Gionee S12.
