So, Man City really has fans in Nigeria smiley

Hilarious.

So, when did this begin?

Or is it just the proverbial case of instant success acquiring many new friends in a flash?

NL Man City "fans", hit me up. How did the love story begin?

Sit and listen. Used to be really fascinated with the Ronaldo and Rooney combo at United. When Ronaldo left nd Fergie brot in some average dudes, I knew manchester United was on d downward hill. I cannot come and kill myself. With Robinho coming to city and the potential for progress I saw there I quickly jumped ship. One of the best decisions I ve taken to be a stress free man. It was foresight that Made me join city. Any other questions?

You better wake up from your dream, I know a lot of Tottenham, Everton strong supporters in Nigeria.. keep supporting a dying man utd.

I know you lot's success-chasing still. smiley Some football fans in Nigeria and particularly on NL just like fastfood.

All of a sudden some folks started clamouring for a Man City live match thread like last week and now here we are. What dies that tell you?

I ain't a United fan by the way... sad

P.S. I'm being peculiar about City. I know two Nigerians who are Bolton and Villa fans. Started running into City fans only like yesterday.

I'm a man City fan since arrival of robinho in 2010.

I sincerely wish city lose this match in a hopeless manner so they can get a good striker

Well, pep should start looking for a new job before December cos leads will swarm on them

Shut up, you are not a man City. why will you want us to lose because you want us to get a striker what nonsense.

we have young boys who could fill that post. beside sterling and aguero will soon be back.

I see no reason for another striker.

all we need to do is to fix our back. and pep is the best coach in the history of man City. so he is not going no where. just shut up

You must be new here, Filly.

Otherwise, everyone knows that I am a die-hard Enyimba fan. Look it up on my profile. I don't invest my emotions on foreign clubs. I just watch good football and that's all.

Now, bleep off. smiley

I didn’t watch soccer when I was little.. while in my junior secondary school, my friends were all football freaks. I was moved to love football as they reminisced on previous matches... sadly, they were all man.u fans.
After man city beat man.u 5-2 in 2014/2015
I knew I was a city fan... I loved their type of play .
Again, man city had no memorable history.. I knew we were in for better times.
I wanted to be part of that history unlike some man.u fans who were still kids when they last lifter epl

not to talk of fans that are not being paid.

And do you get paid for supporting a team whose players don't even know you exist so passionately

Why am I even having this argument with this unintelligent fellow?

My decision to support Enyimba goes back to primary school days. It is one that you will never be intelligent enough to understand no matter how I break it down to you.

I asked a simple question: when did we start having City fans on NL? But rather than give me an answer or better still, "swerve", you started talking higgledy-piggledy.

Too many unintelligent folks on here. sad

I just met a former neighbor of mine and he exclaimed, the first Manchester city fan I ever met.

I started supporting City in 2010. Before Yaya Toure, Dzeko and David Silva joined the club.

There are city fans who have been supporting the club for a long time and nothing wrong in people supporting City because they identify with what they stand for.

I am sure the club you are supporting now won the EPL before you started supporting the club unlike some of us who supported city before they won their first EPL title.

My catch was Carlos Tevez. He was more than a footballer to me. With Tevez joining city and the arrival of Mancini, my departure was inevitable.

I hate this kind of myopic amateur comment. So you think Man City dont have fans in Nigeria and you attest it to success.

Which kind of childish talk is it. So many decades ago who knows about Chelsea, Man U ,Arsenal because I know that's where you want all Nigerian fans to say they belong. Why must you be fan of Chelsea , Arsenal,Man u etc and none will be Man City. My friend go and park well.

I started supporting man city in 2011, largely because of Balloteli, Tevez, and Yaya Touré. Aguero joined us the following season and we lifted the PL for the first time.

My friends then were surprised about my being a city fan, even my dad as well. And I was only 14 then in secondary School

U d intelligent mighty one askin wen City start having fans can conduct a survey now...
I see u r so myopic... one of those causing problems for this country. like u said it is "my decision". It is also pple's decision to support man city, if u can't reason out how players dt are paid to play for a club even club legends o can easily leave their club to play for another club. Why the Bleep will ur coconut head b questioning why fans dt r not paid can choose willingly nd freely to choose any club dey wanna support at anytime...
