It is really a pathetic situation. First bank had to close down its branch in Okemesi Ekiti because of incessant robbery. The same applies to so many other towns in the state. The police and the state government should step up their game. The situation is becoming very embarrassing.

Let me picture what happen for you guys.

Knowing how many police officers that lost their lives in the bank robbery that took place in kogi and Ekiti recently, when they heard the gun shot all the police around flee the scene (some even hide in uncompleted building to change their clothes to mufti ).

According to the mode of operation of robbers, they don't use same cars for operation. They snatch another set of motors and moved their goodies into it and drove off effortlessly.

The people around informed police of abandoned cars, police in their van with a litter of fuel they bought on credit started blowing siren and driven recklessly to where the cars were abandoned. When they got close to the spot they stopped and started shooting to the air to confirm if the robbers have gone far, when they were certain that they've gone police moved close to the cars and started searching if they can as well get some money. Sadly no money in the car only old boot and rag were found.
