please nairalnders I need help, I connected my laptop to a printer and immediately after that my external hard disk stopped showing each time each time I plugged its usb cord.... the external hard disk will come up for about 10secs after which it will go off...... please I really need help. |

@op restart your laptop and try to connect through another USB port. Also unplug the Ext HDD cable and connect back before doing the step. |

Trinitycoy:Yes, try it on another PC and If it's the same thing, change the USB cable. If it persist after changing the cable, then I'll suggest you open the External drive casing and get a new casing. If this still doesn't solve the problem then your drive is gone. |
