NYSC is one of the most ''flexing'' period (for some oooooooooo). But whether flexing or not. .. I strongly believe that if you intend to study abroad, you should use your NYSC period to study (and if possible register and take) the required exams to help you study abroad. . Yea. get a passport.. get recommendation letters.. get your transcript if possible.. write a very good research proposal.. write the GRE and IELTS or TOEFL. start applying! |

How about when you get a scholarship while still serving, is there a way out in order not to lose the scholarship |

emoboy4u:Well, it's not bad to apply for scholarships while serving but always check and double check that resumption and other activities fall after your NYSC. It's very important, so you don't get to loose on any end. Most schools specify resumption timelines and the likes, and most Scholarships are in line with the school. For all the other running around, you can always liase with your corp members, PPA, etc. Anyway, you can always rough that one. Hope I was able to answer your question.
