Just two women left...I feel they're trying to be progressive. Iweala in addition to being black probably has more chances in being elected. |

She is always in the final with South Koreans, Any how, good luck to her, and when You win iweala don't forget your father and mother land Nigeria, She did a lot for you. That korean woman has more achievement when it comes to managing the affairs of a country than her, with what i am reading and what i have witnessed. |

United States relationship with Nigeria and South Korea as well as their interests in the two continents will play a key role. The interests of other continents will also play out. At this level, qualification and achievements does not count. They are both qualified. |

Bad sign for Ngozi Iweala To be elected to a prestigious position like Chairman of WTO, a candidate for this job needs two things (1) name recognition and (2) perceived status. Having served as one of the world Bank managing Directors and Nigeria foreign minister in the past, Ngozi Iweala of Nigeria meets these important criteria to be elected Chairman of world trade organization (WTO). But she is not going to get that job because she comes from a country that has no trade or economic success story to share with the rest world of the world. So, I think when members of WHO get into the voting booth, Yoo Myung of South Korea will receive more votes necessary to win the chairmanship job. Yoo Myung has worked in the ministry of trade in her country since 1992—that means she is a trade expert. she started working for WHO since 1995—a proven years of experience in the field WHO job is required. She is not a black person. Black countries don’t export anything to speak of. And most importantly, she is from South Korea—a strong ally of the United States, European Union, Asia and pacific western nations. And don’t forget, South Korea successful trade policy is envy of the world All these are indicators of a bad sign for Ngozi Iweala chances to get WHO job. I will not cry racism if Yoo Myung wins. |

Let us remember that she contested with a South Korean for the world bank Chairman backed by the U.S government; a couple of years back inpite the fact she was more experienced and qualified. We remember the r outcome. Today, she is contesting again with another South Korean backed by whom? South Korea as a country has strong influence in international politics and are soft spot to U.S international politics and diplomatic arrangements. I heard that E.U are backing our daughter but Who is U.S backing? a crucial question.... we pray for her.... |

It's fascinating to see that all tribes in Nigeria are speaking with one voice because, NOI is first a Nigerian, and secondly a good product! This was how we supported Adesina. If this woman clinches this position, she will go ahead and give WTO the much needed transformation it requires at this time. Let's get back home, guys what we need is a transformed Nigeria, irrespective of who rules it! A Nigeria that works for all is what we all want. The leader may come from any part of the country, it should mean nothing if he or she is a good product. Your brother/sister isn't necessarily one that comes from same parent with you, but one that supports you and helps you achieve your true potentials. We should NEVER again allow ourselves get divided along ethnic or religious lines. Finally, it is not right to keep giving our best to the world and be recruiting mediocre to lead us. It is not a wise thing to do. |
