Got his number on nairaland and requested data from him..... he asked me to send him MTN card 600 to the equivalent of 2 gig up till now he has not replied instead he blocked me on whatsapp

I will upload the screen shots and chats..... please fellow landers ... help me bug him with calls as this data is urgently needed to carry out work

the scammer used this number to call and insult me

See the truth is that it's crooked minded persons that get scammed easily.
Why did you not follow the normal process to subscribe for data.
You saw an advert that is meant to cheat MTN you chose it, got duped and you are here disturbing people's peace. You are confessing to a cyber crime offence if you don't know.
Your story sounds like a thief complaining that his accomplice has refused to share the proceeds of theft.

I have another seller whose advert is verified in nairaland front-page but he ran out of data... so I contacted this one and he scammed me

it's not cheating and ..... it's called sme data or so... there are a lot of adverts on it on nairaland here

SME Data is N300 for 1gb, it has been like that for years, don't say what you don't know please

You mean u are not aware of MTN SME Data? It's unfortunate he fell into the hands of a scammer, but that's the price, some sellers even collect N250, Just that the data plan gets exhausted quickly so I stopped using it.

Mtn 1.6gb is 1500
3500...15gig
5k. 25gig.. etc n dey all burn fast like petrol
