At least four persons including a newly married woman have died after a truck loaded with sand ran into a motorcycle and tricycle.

The bike and keke napep were waiting at a traffic light at Kaduna Refinery Junction along Kachia Road under Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State when the accident occurred.

The incident angered youths in the area and they took to the scene to barricade the road, resulting in heavy traffic.

It took the intervention of security personnel to disperse the angry youth.

This is why I don't like to ride side by side with these heavy vehicles. They are usually top-heavy, I mean with high centre of gravity and ready to topple at any minute. Too said. May their souls rest in peace, amen!

May God continue to guide and protect us. I think tricycle and motor cycle should be banned in every state.

Truck drivers should have a particular speed limit on the road and should be prosecuted in contravention of the law by necessary agencies.

This is it! Accident like this will happen and everyone will go their way. No investigation. It could be as faulty break, or something. If owners of these trucks are dealt with, they will be held accountable. Sometimes, they hire drivers who are not even sane enough to drive. These are stuff we need fixed. It is crazy how people die avoidable deaths in Nigeria. Shame!
