RRS operation in Lagos is an epitome of professionalism. They are friendly just like foreign police. But their friendliness is not weakness, as they protect Lagos residents with eagle eyes. They assist motorists and cyclists alike. They can go as far as Iyana Oworo to patch your tube for you in the case of flat tyre. They are emergency-ready with first aid box and oxygen, sometimes I wonder if medical doctors are in the squad. They do their patrols without harassing anybody, but they can be fierce at times especially they suspect hoodlums are about to strike, they are ten times ahead of the hoodlums, RRS are very sharp, smart, courageous and professional. Even hoodlums are not brutalized as RRS are very good at disarming. They don't usually carry guns, but they are battle-ready. Their professionalism is out of this world. My question is "why can't all Nigeria police be like RRS?" It's like RRS recruitment is done from another country, I always see them as well educated, mannered and civil set of people. This is my observation of RRS. What is your take?

Exactly my thoughts. Those guys are so profesional in discharging thier duties. Very disciplined that i wonder sometimes if they are part of the Nigerian police force.

If you know their Commander DCP Tunji Dissu you will understand why they are like that. He is one of a kind police officer, I have much respect for that man. Oga Tunji is very disciplined, woke and very professional

RRS is a unit in the Nigerian police Force like SARS, Spu, CPU, mopol, etc. Is it a unit not a branch in Lagos command.

I know RRS is a unit in NPF, no be u go tell me that. But I also & only know of their presence in Lagos. Pls tell us any other state you have seen RRS. At least I have been to 18 states in Nigeria and I don't see RRS in those states. We are open for education.
