As in. PDP and Jegede were always getting the most likes online, especially here on Nairaland. My takeaway from this is that:

(1)PDP influencers are more active on social media, therefore they try to shape and influence opinions on topics politically by delivering as many 'likes' on topics that pits their party against the APC, while the APC supporters either don't care about 'likes' or are outnumbered on Nairaland. You will find that APC candidates rarely ever get more 'likes' than PDP ones on virtually all Nairaland polls, even if the APC candidate ends up winning the election.

(2)Elections are not won online. If not, Atiku and Jimi Agbaje would be president and governor respectively, today.

Do you remember Godwin Obaseki won online too. Online poll conducted showed Aketi will win too

Obaseki won online (which buttresses my point about PDP winning most online polls), but most polls conducted online for 'likes' on Nairaland were won by the PDP candidate - - he won all the 'click like for Jegede and share for Aketi posts on Nairaland threads before the election. Most if not all of them.

You should also understand that Owo votes will extend the margin. Only Owo votes will neutralise the Akure South votes while other LGAs will kill Akure North and Ifedore LGAs
