Please can someone here tell me what it would cost to install 1.5kva and 1kva solar systems respectively.

Depends on quantity of batteries you want to use, load and expected runtime. Give a breakdown of what you want to power first.

Quote for 1 Kilowatt solar power system.
(4 solar panels and 200AH dry cell batteries with 1yr warranty.)

1) 250W solar panels 45k *4= 180K
2) 200AH Dry cell battery 125K *2 = 250K
3) 1.5kva inverter = 120K
4) 60Amps Charge controller (PWM) or MPPT= 30K or 90K
5) Roof racks & accessories =15
6)DC cables =depends on the length
7) miscellaneous =Switches/circuit breakers
Transportation= depends on the location
9) Labour= negotiable

Total = Rough estimate

so for just bulbs and fan, I will pay 640,000 naira.. rough estimation.......Total waste of time and money. I'll better stick to nepa and gen

this can actually carry inverter type fridge

Can set up something for you for lesser

without looking much at the above specs, i can tell you an MPPT charge controller isn't needed as the cost isn't worth it in such setup.
So better to just stick with PWM controller.

As for those complaining of costs, yes Solar is expensive only at the initial setup after which it becomes cheap.

What I mean is only initially is Solar expensive unlike generator which appears cheap from the start BUT ends up being expensive in the long run

Are you really interested or just making a comment.

I can set up for you at a lower cost BUT you need know Solar is very Cheap once yu have spent the initial money.

Generator + Fuel is expensive despite the fact it doesn't run 24-hours, 7-days BUT most don't know because they don't keep records.

With that specification I am currently powering
8 cctv camera
3 led
About 15 10 watts bulbs
3 ceiling fans
For about 10 hours.

My inveter is 5kva, four 310watts polychristile panels, two 200amps batteries and 60amps PWM charge controller
