One of the philosophies/laws or principles in the Bible is this " I'll be merciful to whom I'll be merciful"

*. Romans 9: 15 "KJV:For he saith to Moses, I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I WILL HAVE MERCY, and I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON WHOM I WILL HAVE COMPASSION."

*. Exodus 33:19 "KJV:And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and WILL BE GRACIOUS TO WHOM I WILL BE GRACIOUS, and WILL SHEW MERCY ON WHOM I WILL SHEW MERCY."

From the little I know, this law/philosophy or principle, like majority of laws/philosophies, is not applicable to some areas/aspect of our lives/existence.

I'll show (according to my own understanding) the areas that it's not applicable.

A. [/b]IT IS NOT APPLICABLE TO OUR ETERNAL ABODE (HEAVEN OR HELL)[b]


According to the Words, there is life after death or after our departure from the earth.

*. Hebrews 9:27 "KJV:And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

*. Luke 16:22 "KJV: And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

KJV: AND IN HELL HE LIFT UP HIS EYES, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

KJV:And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

KJV:But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

The two places of abode after here are eternally in heaven with God of the Bible or eternally in hellfire with the devil.

.....The choice to be in either of the two places is put in the hand/power of individual....

It is you or me that will choose or have to choose weather to go and eternally be with God or with the devil....

"I'll be merciful to whom I'll be merciful" does not apply in this regard.

What I'm saying is that God has not said to anybody, anywhere and at anytime that

"you, weather you like it or not you must go to heaven"....

And to another one "you, weather you like it or not you must go to hellfire". No, there is no such predestination...!

In our generation or dispensation, the belief in Christ's death burial and resurrection; after which you have vowed (water baptism is a kind of vow) to continue in the new life free from sin.

This is the sure way to spend eternity with God.

Whoever meets or fulfills this necessity is granted abode with God....

People sometimes try to bring predestination stuff to this matter but I don't think it's applicable to our eternal abode.

Hmm, man of God, each time I think towards this example you have just given it will be as if the predestination something is real.

But no, it is not. One of the things that leads to such happening is the effort of an intercessor.

For instance, you are praying for a particular person that he should not be lost/go to hellfire, God will surely look for the best way to answer the prayers.

This is one of the things that makes some people repent at various strategic points of their lives.

Whoever:- short/tall; dark/fair; fat/slim; wise/foolish; educated/not educated; beautiful/ugly; ...

Whoever believes on Jesus should not perish but have everlasting life, John 3:16.


Whoever commits, if he/she refuses to repent, will be rejected/punished by God of Justice.

There is nobody that is refused/denied salvation.

There is no one God had said "you, no need believing in Jesus' death burial and resurrection, no matter what you do you must go to hellfire;...

This thing is like the air we breath in and out using the nose. Everybody uses the same method, ...

The same free air (nobody pays for it, it is God's gift) exactly like salvation.

What have been saying is what I understand in 2 Timothy 2:18:

It says in a great house (the kingdom of God) there are different kinds of wares (people);

the rich/poor, intelligent/dull, white man/black man, tall/short, etc =whoever....

But each wares (person) usefulness to God depends on neatness (holiness and righteousness)....

It's saying, for example, if God has two cups. One is made of gold and another one of plastic.

If there is dirt in the golden cup but plastic cup is clean and neat, He'll rather use the plastic cup than the golden cup....

He won't because it's a golden cup accepts its dirt and He won't because it's plastic cup rejects cleanness.

So "I'll be merciful to whom I'll be merciful" does not apply here....

B. WHERE IT IS APPLICABLE:


God really displays this principle to everything He created ( i.e to man/human beings, to animals, to soil, to Tree and to light).

Bi). To human beings: some are born beautiful, some are born ugly.

If the ugly ones become unhappy and complain "why am I created like this?"...

...The answer to this question is "I'll be merciful to whom I'll be merciful".

Those whose facial/physical appearances are funny did not commit any sin before it happened to them that way....
