Is it worth it or are there higher models he can get for that price in good conditions.

With 1.5, you should get a very good Nigeria used Corolla (2003-2007) or Muscle Camry.

If you search well, 1.650 will get you a tokunbo big daddy

If you can add like 200k, you can still be lucky to see 05/06 Camry Tokunbo for that amount from a considerate dealers. Some of them have stocks before COVID 19 which are yet to be sold. They may sell for you at 1.7m or N1.750k
