Edo State deputy governor, Philip Shaibu this afternoon joined youths to protest against the notorious police unit, SARS.

The #EndSARS protests have been going on across the country as youths voice their dissatisfaction with indiscriminate killings by operatives of the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

It was earlier reported that two persons was killed following an attack on #EndSARS protesters in Benin, Edo State capital by armed men.

Several persons have also been injured in the attack on Friday.

It was gathered that some youths called Ogbe Boys who collect revenue for Oredo Local Government Council in the Ring Road motor park accused the protesters of preventing them from collecting money from vehicles using the car park.
