I couldn't agree more with you @majestick...
Actually my own case is 'what I am doing now or would love doing now that I should have studied'
Alot of decisions Ive made has been extremely and greatly influenced by my parents both consciously and unconsciously due to family of origin, financial status, ethnicity, this country and it's politicians...
whenever I remember singing this song 'parents listen to your children...' back in primary school, I just feel like setting something on fire.
it is well oooh
# end sars aka swat
# end police brutality
# reduce politicians salary

I wanted to study computer science (data processing), my folks said I will end up in a cyber cafe. I was forced to study agricultural economics, and I am now working as an inventory officer in a warehouse.

Before I got the Admission, I had a job. Saved a sizeable sum and started a business. I’ve been running that business all through school till now

Civil Engineering. The point I’m making is not about a job or all that: it’s the fact that I know next to jack about the course. Well, maybe it’s my fault because Engineering never looked appealing to me. Computer Science did.

You don't need a degree to be a computer scientist... All you need is the right digital skills..

Tho the degree certificate will tell if you wanna aplly for multinational company

Practice level, zero.

Innovation, then that’s me. I’m pretty sure the only super-power I have is innovating and finding solutions to real life problems where very few resources exist for me.

HND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, 2016.

BUT NOW, I AM GOOD AT CASHING OUT THROUGH MOBILE PHONE HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REPAIRS.

if to say I didn't attend HUK Poly to do that HND by now, I will rather buy with the money GSM spare parts and dump them in my shop to get the business booming
