Good evening everyone, I'm trying to work around getting a reference letter from my place of work. Can I lie and say it's for a Canadian visa instead?
Is the content the same? I know there are other alternatives but this will always be the least stressful choice. Thanks in advance

Hi guys, please I need to clarify this.
My spouse studied for Masters in the UK about 7years ago.

Would we need to get PCC from the UK while submitting profile ?

From past trends. FST is every 6 months, there was one in August.
Sweetlikehoney:
I suspect the next draw will be FST sef and not a general draw. Hmm it is well.

Not needed while you are entering the pool. However, you need it to submit your application after ITA.

You can get it proactively if you think your score can fetch you an ITA in the next few draws.

Yes I've seen a few. I just want to ensure it's still valid without actually referencing permanent residency

It was usually March/April and October. The one for this year was done in August because of Covid.

Hello house,

My mutual funds account was closed as it was a company fund and I moved the funds to a personal mutual fund. Now to my question. This move happened just last month. How do I prove this change so it doesn't look like the money came from nowhere. Will the previous statement from old account suffice? Since the requirements is 6months statement.
Secondly, can I liquidate my piggyback and also transfer as well or submitting both statements should be fine

Please help fam.

There's an 80% chance that the coming draw will be FST. Covid disrupted the usual way FST draws are done.
COVID has disrupted everything. I doubt there'll be an FST draw anytime soon since there was one 2 months ago. If anything, we are due a B2B draw. But then IRCC is full of surprises.

The embolden is not true, it's not stated anywhere that they need 6months statement. As a matter of fact, we have seen cases where VOs requested for a year bank statements even after the applicant submitted one for 6months.

The point is, you can submit even a month old statement - provided you can explain how you got the money and also convince the VO that the funds will be available for your personal use when you get to Canada, you will be fine.

Attach statement of the mutual funds, highlight when you crashed it and also show when the money hit the other account that you moved the money to. Attach a LOE. That should do it.

Do the same for the piggy bank.
