A trailer transporting an airplane causes heavy traffic gridlock in Edo. The plane which has its wings cut off is said to be coming from Lagos on its way to Abuja. Officials of the FRSC and NPF were on ground trying to direct the traffic.

My question here is this; since it's apparently a scrap plane, why not fully dismantle it before transporting it? Why put Nigerians through the pains of being stuck in traffic on a highway for hours just because of a scrap plane. Abi them wan go refurbish the plane?

Firstly, we're was that airplane cargo coming from and where's it heading? Secondly, was there any inspection to know if it has any hidden content inside if it? We're in highly critical times hence our security must be top notch... Leave no stone unturned.
The size of that airplane cargo is enough to transport heavy weapons. Leave nothing to chance southerners.

Yes, it is an unusual load and should be transported properly and not with a typical low-loader. Yes, our roads are bad enough and transporting this will definitely cause discomfort for road users. Yes, it could have been dismantled and coupled back at site but that will be defeat the purpose for its use cos it will definitely not be tidy.

guy u don fall my hand say u never see this kind thing. I am happy that we can transport this kind of heavy equipment on our own. e get country wey e go be them go pay Chinese heavily to come and do the transporting.

This kind of stuff should have been properly dismantled and transported via railway
