Davido has called out Governor Gboyega
Oyetola of Osun state whose convoy he
accused of allegedly killing two #EndSARS
protesters.
The superstar singer who stated that the killer
cop must be fished out, added that no amount
of initimidation can stop the current demands
by youths across the country.

The officer must be brought to the protest ground. Let the protesters decide his fate.

Fact one : Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun had been away from the State on official assignment for days whilst the #EndSars peaceful protests was on.

Fact Two : Governor Gboyega Oyetola addressed these protesters through the Secretary to the State Government Prince Wole Oyebamiji days earlier.

Fact Three : Protesters and indeed the All Progressive Congress Party in Osun had raised alarm over 24 hours ago of hoodlums attempting hijack of the peaceful protests.

Fact Four : on returning today, October 17th 2020, Governor Gboyega Oyetola's first port of call was the protest ground wearing an #EndSars facecap to identify with and reassure the protesters.

Fact Five : Governor Oyetola trekked distance with the protesters before arriving at Orita Olaiya intersection to address the crowd from the open roof of his vehicle on the next course of action.

Fact Six: the crowd was happy and consensus being reached when a set of armed men/women started shooting sporadically, brandishing cutlasses, axes and other weapons like stones etc at the gathering. They attacked.

Fact Seven : The Governor left the protest ground with vehicles in the convoy blaring horn to safely exit.

Fact 8: Osun Mall and innocent occupants were attacked. The shops were looted !

Iconic shops around Osogbo Post office built probably in the 1930s were razed down !!! No true Osun Indigene or genuine protesters would do this ☹

If anyone has a video of the Governor insulting the protesters as alleged, let the person kindly share. Or of a security aide of the Governor shooting at people, let us have it please.

The only visuals we have of guns on the grounds of protest today in Osogbo are that of unidentified men in black brandishing Guns and other weapons.

The Governor at every point of participation had mobile phones cameras documenting his every move by the protesters . The youths followed keenly and recorded , surely by now we should have an evidence to support the narrative as been advanced by these 5th columnists

Let it be on record that Governor Gboyega Oyetola has been and always been a man of peace, as acknowledged even by diehard opponents.

Let it also be on record that there had been reported attacks on innocent protesters days earlier and the Government had taken steps to address it until it escalated to this unfortunate dimension today.

May the soul of all the departed in the struggle for a better Nigeria rest in peace. May we never witness such terrible hard times like this in Nigeria ever again. May God Almighty console all who mourns, may we find lasting solution to all that ails us.

It is a very sad day here in Osun.
