Dear Nairalanders,

Please where can I get(buy) this Red Dacca Banana Sucker?

The ones that are red like the attached picture please. Not the off colour red one.

The dwarf is most preferable though.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have seen the banana in an open market in Lagos before. Enquired from the woman selling it about her source, but she wasn't straightforward. Probably thought I wanted to take her business from her. Lol

Lol. There are lots of varieties. Even the blue java banana (as attached). Though I haven't seen the fruit in the market before. Maybe it doesn't grow in sub Saharan Africa weather.

But these ref and blue varieties are still the same in terms of taste with the green ones

No, they have different tastes and health benefits. You can read more about each variety (google); Red Dacca and Blue Java are very different, most especially the taste of the blue java.

is it white.
