An associate professor of Journalism and Critic, Farooq Kperogi has called on the National Assembly to launch impeachment proceedings against President Muhammadu Buhari amidst the #EndSARS protests.

Kperogi, in a tweet on Tuesday, disclosed that the impeachment was in order because the President allegedly has Dementia, a mental disease.

"I'd called on the National Assembly to impeach and remove Buhari because his dementia has caused him to lose the mental presence to govern."

"Amid the conflagration that has enveloped Nigeria, he's been absent. His minders won't allow him to talk unmediated because his sick and vacant mind would become apparent."

President Buhari is yet to address Nigerians since the protests began. The #EndSARS protests against police brutality and bad governance have been ongoing for over a week and has garnered widespread support.

Which necessary? Are you ok? Maybe you've not been following up the protest closely. He just unleashed a new chapter of horror and global attention, he has shown he's wicked-heartedness and lack of value for human life. Hausas never really value life and he's proved it..at every slight provocation, they pull out daggars and that's what he did yesterday with the gun using soldiers. Honestly with what happened yesterday, he has declared a serious battle line..the situation is about to get more intense. He's a foolish leader and has succeeded in making himself the world's center of attention in a very wrong way. Hilary Clinton has messaged him openly on Twitter, he gat huge eyes on himself now.

Yesterday's killing all over the nation was over 30 and it will breed a serious pandemonium today. The more they attack youths, the more we will go out. There's huge power and defence in United and massive population. No backing down.
