Thank you sir.
Yes if that will make you have a very sound sleep.
For now, our focus is getting back our state from hoodlums and arsonists who hijacked the protest.
We will support our governor to restore peace in Lagos and we will ensure they implement the concessions the protest got us from government.
Btw, I am a Nigerian but not poor sir.
Restoring peace also include killing of peaceful protesters and because you are not poor make you things millions of other Nigerians are not too
Not until someone close to you or you yourself have a taste of this bitterness before you understand the agony of a failed nation.

You must think it is harder to destroy than to build.
We wanted peace to protect the suffering masses trekking and suffering from the actions of both the government and the protesters without exit strategy.
We need peace even for your own safety. You are safe wherever now because some people made it possible.
We supported the protests until the anarchists took over.
Now we want peace back in Lagos so we can count our cost. Even the worst of wars still ended on a round table. The fight can not be for ever.

On death, we are yet to confirm the authenticity of any death and channels TV correspondent who reported from the scene did not state that death or corpses were seen.
It is not impossible that there could be death but I pray It is not so.

There is growing security concern about the recklessness going on here on Nairaland. They are using nairaland to promote a completely different agenda and they don't care if many properties gets destroyed or many get killed by their antics.
Stop enabling them.

Please kindly provide authentic proofs of death. I watched Olu Phillips of Channels TV reporting live from the scene, he said people were wounded but didn't mention death or seeing corpses.
I will stand by his account for now while praying no one will die and speedy recovery for the wounded.

Thank you. A wise person finds out the truth. Even one of the purported video has been brought down by Twitter probably because it is fake.
Who would you believe between a Channels TV correspondent reporting live from the scene and did not report death or corpses and a video already brought down for being fake.

Maybe there's a curse fighting against this country because no matter how some freedom fighters are ready to sacrifice their lives, there are no-do-well entities like you who always frustrate the effort for progress.

If you don't believe the random vids on Twitter, check channels on Twitter, lots of updates from time to time. Correspondents interviewed eye witnesses too.

There was one guy gasping in a vid, the protester in front of him was shot dead but he escaped, but he vowed to go back, people begged him but he said, some of them have decided to sacrifice their lives for this country to be better.

You are quoting a protester yet the journalist reporting live from the scene did not report death or corpses and the governor has gone round to confirm casualties which tallies with the eye witness live account of Olu Phillips of Channels TV .
Why are you doing like this ? Do you have specific joy if people had died.
Those who covered it did not see death or corpses and put their credibility on It, why not take that at least until a credible news source counters it. Quoting video on Twitter is not wise because such videos may be fake and you can not blame anyone for it.
What we want is peace in Lagos.
We don't want death of youths and it is a huge relief so far that no death has been confirmed.
I believe the account of the governor and channels TV

Amen bro. You too. Let's spread love. This is a hard time. Even let's assume it's the protesters burning down things, and not the hired thugs. All the same, everyone is being pushed to the wall, and our leaders will never listen to a soft tone, they will take it with levity and continue wearing agbada and looting the bleeding country.
If tangible change will come, some people will sacrifice their lives. That's everyone who has sacrificed his/her life in this protest just because they want a new Nigeria. They're all my heros.
All our bad wicked leaders who continue looting with all they have, increased prices of things, increased fuel price, yet they don't let masses have money to spend.
Lots of innocent people have died for nothing in this hell of a country, it's very sad.

nothing will happen , this isnt the first time and we all know how it will end , the army may likely deny involvement and claim that it was rogues who came in their uniform , even armed robbers and kidnappers use military uniforms at times , they will claim that the Nigeria army is well trained in handling civil disobedience and that Nigeria soldiers will never open fire on unarmed civilians , that is one side . they will pick up some prisoners , torture them and claim that they have arrested the rogues who did the shootings

they may just come out and say that ,the soldiers were threatened and only resorted to shooting back as an act of self defense, and let it be know , the military will never give up their soldiers once they were carrying out orders , it will just be a case of unknown soldier

But why did you said the op is lied. I was on IG live yesterday. Yes I agree the protests is becoming to extreme and I can categorically say the protests is not a movement again. Their request has been met by government Because you can't see SARS operating again.

But the protest Seems like an opportunity for youths most Especially the jobless graduates. I can't say those guys outside there protesting all of them are hoodlums... Even There's a two graduates in my estate gone out protesting I was shocked when saw them because I never expect it.

Also we have seen security forces using hoodlums to attack the protesters. Government should come out again and address the ugly situation. We can't allow government to continue killing our people.
Vaughanlanrewaj:

Thank you.
You can keep up the violence and the thunder in your state but here in Lagos, we want peace.
Our forebears by dint of hardwork and more hardwork built what we build on today, we can not sit idly and watch All go up in flames in the hands of arsonists and hoodlums who may have somewhere else they call home.
We suffered and patiently supported the protests until the anarchists took over.
Now we want peace and want government to go ahead and implement all the concessions they promised.
God bless Nigeria.

As for people like you, defending the unlawful shooting of people gathered at a point doing nothing, may that same type of "peace" descend upon your household. Shey that's the best way to get peace? May peace be delivered to your family by bullets and bloodshed.

You are clearly a cyber warrior for the government

The situation on ground is even worse than what is reported on social media.

The govt is intentional with its actions
1. Cut off the cctv at toll gate
2. Switch off the lights
3. Army trucks cart away corpses
4. Cyber warriors are deployed to water down the severity of govt's atrocities.

None of these still confirms the lies of death and massacre.
I have been quoting a private and credible news station and the confirmation of the casualty list by the governor just tallies with it.

Tens of people died
It is statistically reasonable that for some number of survivors, there will be corpses
